Oh, I'm sure you're all already aware of why I'm here.

But I have some more reasons to be here than just something unconventional I did once. I'd like to stir things up a bit. I'd like to challenge some things I see in this community that are just taken for granted.

I would like to know why so many of these weblogs have links to pornography in them. Firstly, blogs are usually about your life, so exactly what does porn have to do that? Secondly, and more importantly, it gives outsiders the impression that porn is your life. Unless you work in the pornography business (and some people here do), it gives outsiders the impression that zoophiles are just obsessed with porn.

On the plus side, I think it's great that people are talking about the non-zoo parts of their lives. That's a really positive image to be conveying: "Yes I'm a zoophile, but I'm an otherwise-normal human too".

You see, for ages I've been annoyed with the way the gay lobby is handling things. Their idea of getting acceptance is by emphasising the differences between homosexuals and heterosexuals, rather than the similarities. One prime example is the gay pride parade, where everyone on the floats makes a concious effort to *look* gay. That practice has never been successful, and it never will be. The other thing the gay lobby does is it refuses to let anyone else have an opinion. I've been called a "homophobe" and a "closed-minded bigot" just for telling you what I've said in this paragraph.
